Zapping a plasma display panel by placing it on the Tesla Coil toroid, with a grounded wire pointing at the face. The driver chips were removed by cutting off the flexible PCBs at the edges to prevent them shorting all the row and column electrodes together. The bright red vertical stripe to the left is where the panel edge is arcing to the coil's toroid.

WARNING Zapping glass, or other insulators can leave a significant static charge on the surface, which although probably not dangerous in itself can make you drop it, with somewhat messy results!
